Justyce Lopez,

LCSW

Mental Health Therapist
Trained in Mindfulness Stress Reduction and board approved supervisor with both SW and C&T

Hello, I’m Justyce. Early life experiences shape us in powerful ways, and my own journey growing up in northern New Mexico led me to the work I do today. Navigating childhood trauma, body image struggles, and eating disorders gave me a deep understanding of pain, resilience, and the courage it takes to heal. These experiences inspired my commitment to mental health advocacy and supporting others through their own healing journeys.

I hold a master’s degree in Social Work from New Mexico Highlands University, and I am certified in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. I’m also working toward my yoga teaching certification, which allows me to bring both mind and body awareness into my sessions. This blend of education, training, and personal growth enables me to offer a diverse range of tools to the clients I serve.

My approach to therapy is holistic and collaborative. I recognize that every person’s story is unique, and I tailor each session to meet your individual needs. My therapeutic toolbox includes mind/body interventions, somatic release techniques, cognitive behavioral therapy, and inner child work. These modalities help clients process trauma, manage anxiety and depression, reconnect with themselves, and build emotional resilience.

Life can often feel unpredictable and overwhelming, leaving us disoriented or unsure of our next steps. But just like the weather, our internal landscape can change—sometimes slowly, sometimes all at once. I believe deeply in the possibility of healing and transformation, and I’m here to walk alongside you as you rediscover your strength and clarity.

In our sessions together, you can expect a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I’m honored to support you on your path toward healing, empowerment, and personal growth.
