Heidi Wahl,
LADAC, LMSW, MPH
Mental Health Therapist
Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor
Hello, I’m Heidi. I have spent many years working in the behavioral health field, and I’m grateful for the diverse experiences that have shaped the way I support clients today. My background includes working with addictions, mental health, and co-occurring disorders across a wide variety of settings—residential treatment, outpatient and intensive outpatient programs, inpatient care, and community-based services. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of the many different paths people take toward healing.
Throughout my career, I’ve served in roles ranging from direct care to management and upper leadership, but my heart has always remained in clinical work. As a therapist, I take a trauma-informed, mindfulness-based approach, creating a space where clients feel safe, grounded, and empowered to explore their healing journey. I have experience working with both adults and children, and I tailor my approach to meet the individual needs of each person I support.
In addition to my clinical work, I am also an adjunct professor at the University of New Mexico, where I have the privilege of teaching and mentoring the next generation of behavioral health professionals. Education and continued learning are important to me, and I bring that same spirit of growth into the therapy room.
I’m honored to walk alongside clients as they build resilience, develop new tools, and reconnect with their strengths. Wherever you are in your healing process, I’m here to support you with compassion, curiosity, and a commitment to helping you thrive.
